A Tribute to Modern Theatre recruits senior and junior creators of Taiwan and Hong Kong theatre, and they together present three works around the whole building of Guling Street Avant-Garde Theatre, interpreting the three theatrical revolutions in the 20th century with a young perspective. The project includes Beauty 2011, a theatre-of-cruelty work, The Bald Soprano in Taipei, a theatre-of-the-absurd work, and Five ways of Offending the Audience, a work of anti-theatre. A Tribute to Modern Theatre puts history of theatre into practice, renewing your understanding of modern theatre.
