In Taiwan’s children’s theatre, more often than not, the children characters are pure and innocent; even if some of them are deviant, they can be easily corrected. However, Alive and Kicking takes the traumas occurring in childhood more seriously. The show is not made for children but for us, the grownups, whose inner children may have not recovered or just secretly keep growing.
